Kabalite Warriors

This is my test model for my Dark Eldar Kabalite Warriors. If I can get all my warriors up to this table standard by NOVA I'll be happy. Here's some more WIP shots of the rest. Next up is the Wych squad.

Dark Eldar Display Board - WIP
Saturday, August 3, 2013
There was no way my Dark Eldar army was going to fit within my old display board / tray, so this morning I went to the craft store to pick up something larger. Ended up having just enough space; not a whole lot of free space, but enough to add some extras at the back. I snapped some pictures at each step so I'll let them do most of the talking.

Eldar Jetbikes & Bases
Friday, August 2, 2013
My Eldar allied detachment is getting closer to completion. My 1850 list is locked and I have had several weeks to mull it over; it certainly has its weaknesses (almost every list does) but I'm still very excited about it and hope it will turn out to be flexible enough in a diverse tournament setting.

How To
Farseer on Jetbike
Wednesday, July 17, 2013
Here's my Farseer on a Jetbike. It was a fairly simple kitbash using the new plastic Farseer and a Reaver. I had to green stuff the mid-section of the torso to work with the Reaver legs on the bike and also to extend the reach/position of both arms. With the flash on, you can clearly see these areas on the model.

Dark Eldar / Eldar for NOVA 2013
Monday, July 15, 2013
45 days till the NOVA 2013! I've only been working on my Dark Eldar / Eldar army and there's no turning back now. I have my work cut out for me but feel confident I can get things in order over the next month and a half.

Necron Reinforcements & Gaming
Sunday, July 7, 2013
It's been a good month; some much needed vacation with the family, more hobby progress on my Dark Eldar (and some Necrons), and the most games I've played in a long time.
The Dark Eldar are coming along, slowly but surely. I was in between a couple of paint schemes and finally made a decision. I was even able to get a couple small practice games in with my awesome wife who agreed to play some 40k for Father's day :)
