Dark Eldar / Eldar for NOVA 2013

45 days till the NOVA 2013! I've only been working on my Dark Eldar / Eldar army and there's no turning back now. I have my work cut out for me but feel confident I can get things in order over the next month and a half.

My list isn't 100% locked down yet, but the core of it is; it's those last 50pts that are giving me pause... add a few more bodies or add some potentially game changing wargear? I don't think I'll be completely sure until I've tried it out on the table, but for now I'm leaning wargear, as an extra 2 or 3 bodies doesn't mean much for T3 armies.

It should be a fun list though. I'll get to use most of what I've already assembled, although in the case of these Scourge they will be painted up to represent Eldar Swooping Hawks. I'll be doing the same with Reavers representing Windrider jetbikes. In both cases, the Eldar units are more points efficient and fulfill very different roles on the battlefield but Dark Eldar sculpts are far superior. In the end, I hope to have an allied detachment that is divergent enough in appearance from the Primary but will still mesh well together as a unified force. We'll see if I can pull it off!

Here's the Hawk dropping the Grenade Pack when they arrive -- such a cool ability! I just finished assembling the remaining 3 to complete my unit of 6 (I'm only using the feathered wings to keep with the original look and feel of Swooping Hawks). Next up is the Jetbike squads, then all assembly for the army will be complete. I'll post more updates as progress is made on each squad.
