Painting McFarlane Toys

 

These McFarlane Toys surprisingly take paint pretty well!

I snagged this Necron Flayed One Artist Proof on Prime Day for 8$ 👍

I filed some of the biggest mold lines away, but nothing too crazy; maybe spent 5 minutes cleaning the model up before hitting it with black primer then Leadbelcher:

It's been awhile since I've painted anything, so this was a nice project to ease back into with. I was trying to copy my 40k Necron army paint scheme:

Yes, I posed him to be chin thinking and scratching his butt... the pose-ability of these McFarlane Toys are really fun! I've got another Artist Proof, the Chaos veteran, I'll paint up next. And I've got some terrain projects that I just primed for Dave's scenery challenge coming up 😉
