New Army Case & Ammo

My new case for transporting my Dark Eldar army arrived this weekend. It's my first case from KR Multicase, but it definitely wont be my last. The whole KR system makes a lot of sense, especially if you have a larger collection and play multiple armies. Up until now, I've used Sabol's Army Transport bags and foam which have served me well for many years. Honestly, they make a great product as well and you'll be hard pressed to beat Sabol's price point. But the reason I went with KR over Sabol for my Dark Eldar is simple; custom cut soft foam.
Sabol's foam is more dense/hard and I worried about all the spikes and details of the Dark Eldar model range wedged in between that (not to mention how tedious it can be to pluck all those storage slots while trying to get the most out of a foam tray). KR's foam is softer and much more forgiving with delicate, spikey models. I also really liked their offering of custom, army specific foam trays. KR was definitely worth spending a little more on for the higher quality foam as well as the handy card case design system. I can't wait to get my KR Backpack from NOVA at the end of the month.
I also decided to invest in some new dice (ammo), the casino grade quality this time. Hopefully they roll well for me in the coming weeks. I'll get to try them out next Saturday at a local 3 round NOVA style tournament which will also be the first time playing my 1850 DE / Eldar list. I'm really looking forward to it and hope to have the majority of my painting done by then as well.
And no, I won't be pulling a Lance ;)
