3 Years, 3 Armies
Wednesday, December 18, 2013
It's hard to believe this thing is still going. When I set out on this project, I had 3 main army collections all mostly unpainted and a good portion unbuilt and still in their boxes. It's been a long but mostly steady journey building, painting, and playing with each force.
In a lot of ways, this was the end goal of this whole endeavor; to have a variety of painted armies I could pull from to play at a moments notice. To have a bunch of combinations ready and waiting to be played instead of always needing to make new purchases just to be able to try something new.
I'll still be adding to each army I'm sure, but I intend to play with the bulk of what I have and get better with those units before I make any other major additions. I still have pleanty of projects to finish up as well: several more units to add to my Dark Eldar, allied contingents of Orks and Chaos, repainting a faction of Raven Guard into Raptors, etc.
Thanks to all of you who I've met through the blog and for all the words of encouragement along the way. Cheers!

That's a nice showcase.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing more from you!
Thanks Malthus!
DeleteLove it, the only question is, what's next?
ReplyDeleteThanks! That is the question... I'd like to finish my Raptors and revisit my Raven Guard. There's a lot of room for improvement with all of my Marine units and I'm looking forward to playing more from their new codex, so they'll probably be getting more attention in the near future.
