Now that I have a phone that has a working camera again I thought I'd share a few shots from today's game, my first of the new year. And boy was it a big one: 3 on 3, 5500pts per side! I brought my 2000pt bike army and was teamed up with 2000pts of Imperial Guard and 1500pts of Dark Angel reinforcements. We were facing 2000pts of Tyranids, 2000pts of Chaos, and another 1500pts of Chaos reinforcements.
Needless to say, it was an incredibly cinematic battle. Unfortunately, the non-Imperial side of the board had TERRIBLE dice rolls the entire game which resulted in a blood bath. We were clearing entire quadrants and then some with each round of shooting. It was a brutal and fun game. 11,000pts on the table looks awesome, especially with models that look like this:
Easily the best looking Tyranid army I've seen and have played against.
